Colour photograph of a bull in a crate being hoisted by crane from Gott pier to the cargo vessel `Glencloy` in 1973. The ferry could not berth alongside the pier at that time because of obstruction caused by the `Loch Seaforth` which had sunk alongside the pier as a result of hitting rocks in Gunna Sound.

Copy of an OS map from 1900, with handwritten annotations and updates by/for Cornaigmore H.G. and Heylipol Public schools in May/June 1934. Annotations include land use (probably Meadow, Heath and Agriculture) and notes regarding roads, crops, livestock, markets, horses and land tenure.

Collection of 15 English poems written by Donald Murray (author of `The Guga Hunters`) during his visit to Tiree in summer 2011. Donald has Tiree ancestors and comes from Lewis. Subjects include corncrakes, family, houses, cattle, Skerryvore lighthouse, machair, St. Patricks Chapel, wartime, travelling around Argyll, hares. Includes a covering letter from Donald to An Iodhlann.
