Sepia photograph of Donald and Nan MacLean of Kenovay, standing at the door of their butchers shop with Sergeant Connel (on left) during WWII. The MacLeans supplied the RAF with meat when it was based at The Camp at Crossapol. Sergeant Connel was a chargehand at Smithfield Market, London. In his spare time he enjoyed coming to help Donald and Nan.
