Information about Lieutenant Commander Erick Naslund, Shipping – Tiree, 1941-42

An account of Lieutenant Commander Erick Naslund, who was the Royal Navy Shipping Officer on Tiree during 1941-42. Also emails between An Iodhlann and Brian Harris. The wreck of HMS Sturdy at Sandaig in October 1940 with the loss of 5 lives, may have catalysed sending a Shipping Officer to Tiree.
