Printed list of numbered items in the George Holleyman collection of artefacts, photographs, manuscripts and notebooks, held at An Iodhlann. Copy included at the start of the G Holleyman collection file folder. George Holleyman FSA was an archaeologist who was stationed at RAF Tiree during WWII. He carried out significant amounts of pioneering archaeological work in Sussex during the first half of the 20th century, along with Drs. Eliot and Cecil Curwen. He was made a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries in 1949.

Report to Scottish Water following archaeological investigations of sites for new water mains pipes at West Hynish, Balephuil, Heylipol, Crossapol, Ruaig, Brock, Milton and Caoles.
Four pieces of bog iron ore from Vaul, 400m west of Dun Mòr Bhalla. Bog iron ore occurs naturally in wet ground associated with sand. It was refined and used by Iron Age settlers to make tools etc.
Collection of animal bones, pottery shards and assorted objects from Kirkapol Chapel
Collection of assorted animal bones, teeth & horn (42), pottery shards (23), metal fixings (16), broken glass (8), and fragments of ceramic “In Loving Memory” dedication (3), found during survey/excavation/restoration of the old kirk at Kirkapol chapels in 2002. The bones and shards were found on wall plates.

Collection of around 70 pottery fragments found by the Boyd family at Dùn Shiadair, West Hynish, in the 1970s. Some with various line, stipple and twist decorations, some coloured blue (bagged separately).
Collection of 19 fragments of pottery (one with stipple decoration), and two bone fragments from a midden on the north side of Dùn nan Gall Ceanna Mhara on 26/3/73.
