Hardback book ‘The Scottish Anthem Book’, 1922, revised from the original ‘Book of Anthems’, which was published in 1875 as and aid to singing hymns and psalms in the Church of Scotland. Belonging to Effie MacDonald (nee MacCorquodale), Kenovay, it is signed ‘Euphemia Cameron MacCorquodale, No. 8’.

Two large, well worn books titled ‘Songs of the Hebrides, volume 1’ and ‘More Songs of the Hebrides’ belonging to Sidney Herbert Sime (1865-1941), who was an English artist best known for his satirical artwork during the late Victorian period. One copy is signed S H Sime on an inner page, while the other is embossed S.H.S. on the cover.

Music CD ‘River to Sea – from Tlell to Tiree’ by Sheila Cameron, Canada, ca 2018. Collection of songs mostly associated with the Tlell River on the island of Haida Gwaii, NW Canada, but moving on the shores of Tiree where the track ‘All you need is the sea’ was written.

Manuscript and lyrics for a modern folk song about a woman from Tiree who emigrates to Canada. ‘Fay McKinnon’ was composed by accomplished singer/songwriter Bob Dunn during a visit to Tiree in 2018. Other material includes a CD and booklet of additional songs by Bob Dunn, and covering letter with background to the song.

Ten books ‘The Eric R Cregeen Fieldwork Journals’, edited by Margaret Bennett, 2018. Historian Eric Radcliffe Cregeen (1921-1983) made hundreds of audio recordings of oral histories from a wide range of people from around Scotland. His meticulous notes are displayed and transcribed in nine volumes, with those regarding Tiree recordings presented in Volumes 3 to 9.
