Two photocopied letters from Marion Blair of Partick, Glasgow, to her brother and sister, Duncan and Georgina, in 1931. The letters tell of the death of their brother Archie (Dunne?) in Glasgow and the difficulty and expense of transporting his coffin to Tiree via Oban.
Information about Lieutenant Commander Erick Naslund, Shipping – Tiree, 1941-42
An account of Lieutenant Commander Erick Naslund, who was the Royal Navy Shipping Officer on Tiree during 1941-42. He was responsible for dealing with shipwrecks in the area during WWII, and for preventing looting. He and his family lived in the school house in Scarinish. Written by his daughter. Also emails between An Iodhlann and Brian Harris. The wreck of HMS Sturdy at Sandaig in October 1940 with the loss of 5 lives, may have catalysed sending a Shipping Officer to Tiree.

A family history of the MacKinnons who emmigrated to Canada in 1850
An account of the ancestors and descendents of John MacKinnon (Heylipol, b. 1792) and Ann MacKinnon (Crossapol, b. 1796 Mull) who emmigrated with their seven children to Canada in 1850 on board the `Conrad`. They settled in Bruce County, Ontario.
