Original hand-drawn map of the locations of all grave markers in the old sections of Soroby Cemetery. Researched and produced by Catriona Smyth as part of a contract with An Iodhlann to chart and photograph the headstones in Soroby Cemetery. Accompanied by a digital copy printed on hard board (2013.1.2) and a database of photographs and transcriptions of the headstones.

Softback book about two prominent MacLeans, Sir Alexander MacLean of Otter (Castor) and Sir John MacLean of Duart (Pollox), who joined forces to rescue Sir Alexander`s regiment from Isle of Gigha in 1689 whilst underfire from the Royal Navy.

The MacFadyen – McPhadden Family in Coll and Tiree, 2011

Bound printed copy of Glenda Franklin`s (Canada) research into her Tiree and Coll ancestry. Alexander McPhadden (1790-1878) lived in Croish House, Caoles, before emigrating to Ontario, Canada, with his family in 1806. He was Glenda`s great-great-grandfather. Colour photograph of Lachie & Flora MacLean, Druimfraoich, at ‘Naimh Chaluim Chèaird / the cave of Calum the tinker’ on the Balephuil side of Kenavara around 1995-2000. Thought to be a Neolithic/Bronze Age burial chamber. It is named after a traveller who presumably sheltered there.
