Black & white photograph of Baugh House taken by Erskine Beveridge during 1896-1901. Built as the doctor`s house for Dr Buchanan, whose horse and trap is by the door. The original doctor`s `cottage` is beside the L-shaped barn. At the time, the doctor’s living was made from Baugh Farm. Baugh House is still used as the doctor`s residence.

Anne`s parents were Archie MacPhail and Christine MacKinnon (married Tiree 1894). The family is registered in the 1901 census, schedule no.79, Balevullin. Great-uncle and grandfather (resp.) of Christine MacLean Klein, Germany. John, also known as `Iain a` Ghlascu / John of Glasgow (man)`, died of a heart attack in the saloon of the MV Loch Ard whilst anchored at Bruichladdich in 1962, aged 63.

Photocopies of newspaper cuttings about the High Jump record achieved by Tiree school girl Flora McBain (now MacKinnon) of Balinoe, at the British Legion`s Sports at Murrayfield, Edinburgh, in 1949, a letter from the Corporation of Glasgow Eastbank Secondary School congratulating her on her success (4/7/1949), and a telegram dated 20/7/1949 inviting her to compete.
