Copy of a DVD of the Tiree Community`s contribution to a UK-wide attempt to break the record for the number of people carol singing at the same time. Led by Rev Elspeth MacLean at Kirkapol Church on 16th December 2012. Sadly, the record was not broken.

Length of white linen depicting a broadsword on an ornate background. Painted in brown and black from a brass rubbing made by Fiona MacKinnon, Kirkapol, in Kirkapol Church, ca 2008. Originally stretched over a wooden frame and used as a curtain pelmet.
Collection of animal bones, pottery shards and assorted objects from Kirkapol Chapel
Collection of assorted animal bones, teeth & horn (42), pottery shards (23), metal fixings (16), broken glass (8), and fragments of ceramic “In Loving Memory” dedication (3), found during survey/excavation/restoration of the old kirk at Kirkapol chapels in 2002. The bones and shards were found on wall plates.
