Includes Captain Hugh MacLean of Tiree, who was awarded the DSC for bravery during the attack whilst serving on the SS Dan-y-Bryn. Also includes details of decorated seamen from other Hebridean islands and a photocopied page from “The War in Pictures, Fourth Year” (Oldham Press, London) describing the battle.
