Black & white photograph of Johnny MacPhee and Morag MacPhee (Duncan MacPhee’s wife) outside their thatched house in Scarinish in 1947. Johhny MacPhee was Duncan MacPhee’s Uncle. Morag died in 1978. Johnny died in 1963 and Duncan died in 1997.

Advertised as “Can be used entirely without stropping. At the Great Shaving Contest at the Royal Aquarium, little Nelly Wick shaved five men in 4 minutes and 42 seconds with the Mab Razor.
Hardback book by Duncan Williamson who was from generations of traditional travelling people and whose mother had Tiree connections. Duncan tells his story of his life and customs as he travelled across Scotland to and from Loch Fyne in the west to Perth in the east.
