Eleven colour photographs of the MacKinnon Family Farm, Manitoba, Canada taken in 2000-2005 by descendents of Hugh MacKinnon who was born in 1841 at Ruaig, Tiree. The farm was established in 1892 by the family of Hugh MacKinnon. Photos include the gravestones of Finney (Fingon?) McKinnon (died 1859) and his wife Christenia (died 1896).

Photocopied newspaper article from 1986, and accompanying letter to Archie MacKinnon, Cornaigmore, from his cousin in Australia, Sept 2009. A friend of Archie`s cousin had given his cousin the newspaper article and letter. The article reports Roderick Nicolson`s 95th birthday celebrations at the Cabarfeidh Hotel, Balallan and of his teaching career, including his first teaching position as Headmaster of a primary school on Tiree in 1913. The accompanying letter gives details of his family on Lewis.

Collection of copies of texts and photos relating to the Bard John MacLean 1787-1848. Born in Caolas, Tiree. Emmigrated to Nova Scotia in 1819 with his wife and children, arriving in Pictou, NS. Famous for his many poems. Includes poems, biographies, information on his house in NS, a genealogical account of the MacLeans and Sinclairs of Glen Bard. Collection compiled by his descendants, Angus and Mary MacLean, Scarinish in 2008.
