Dugald MacEchern (2010.26.1) and prayer by Neil Munro (2010.26.2), and enquiring about the Clement family that lived at Gallanach, Coll, in the early 1900s. According to a search for the Clements family in the 1901 census (conducted and reported by Duncan Grant), Katy`s mother was Mary MacMillan Clement who was the adopted daughter of James and Mary Clement of Gallanach. Their servant, Margaret MacMillan, may have been the natural mother of Mary MacMillan Clement.
