Catherine MacKinnon (1876–1950) of Lodge Farm in Kirkapol was the sister of Rev. Hector MacKinnon of Shettleston and the adoptive mother of Elsie MacKinnon. She attended Lady Victoria Campbell’s sewing classes where she learned to make lace.
