Angus MacPhail of Ruaig talks about two 19th century Tiree bards John MacLean of Caoles (Bard Thighearna Cholla) and John MacLean of Balemartine (Am Bard Bhaile Mhartainn). Five of the bards` songs were sung: “A` Choille Gruamach” and “Oran Manitoba” sung by Angus MacPhail, “Marbh Rann do Mhrs. Nobel” sung by Donald Sinclair of Balephuil (Domhnall Chaluim Bhain), “Calum Beag” and “Hi Ho RO” sung by Mairi MacInnes of South Uist.
