Round white metal tin of Cromophone telephone cleaning pads from the Scarinish Post Office in the 1960s. Made by Cromessol, Glasgow, each cotton pad contained Chlorhexidine cleansing agent for disinfecting telephone mouth-pieces, micro-phones and dictating machines.
