Oval brass keyring 45 mm by 30 mm, stamped on one side with `SCARINISH GAURD ROOM` around the edge and `38` in the centre, and on the other side `W`, an upward-pointing arrow, `D`. In use during World War II. Found on Hough beach by Fiona MacRae.

Brass fob from a key for the Scarinish Guard Room
The Guard room was in use during World War II. The reverse side of the fob is stamped with a `W`, an upward-pointing arrow and a `D`. It is not known how it ended up on the beach at Hough where it was found some 50 years later.
