Hardback book used to teach history in Tiree/Oban High School. Handwritten on inside front pages: “Neil MacDonald, Scarinish, Isle of Tiree, Argyllshire, Scotland; John MacDonald; Hettie MacDonald”.
Large, lidded `Dalli` iron for smoothing fabric, used during 1890 to 1930. A burning brick of smokeless fuel would have been placed into the iron to heat for use. From the estate of Angus MacLean, The Coolins, Scarinish.

Sepia photograph of John D Campbell in the uniform of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders around 1942. Campbell became the owner of the yacht Oceana that grounded and broke up on Crossapol beach in 1949. His batman in the army was a Tiree man, thought to be Alan MacCallum.
