Site of Donald MacDonald`s shop in Balevullin

Donald ran a shop from next to his house, selling all manner of useful goods. It was one of up to 32 shops that were scattered throughout the island at a time when transport was by horse and cart or, more likely, on foot. The building is now a private residence.
