Programme of church service, 3 colour photographs, and eulogy and tributes to Alasdair MacKinnon Sinclair, Brock (1923-2009), engineer and enthusiastic co-founder of An Iodhlann. A service of thanksgiving and remembrance was held at Kirkapol Church on 20 Jan. 2009.
Collection of photographs belonging to Willie Adair, Balevullin & Scarinish
Collection of 14 black & white and colour photographs belonging to Willie Adair (1925-2010), Balevullin & Scarinish. Willie was a foster child from Glasgow who came to live in the red-roof house in Balevullin. He was a great piper. Married first to Ina Lamont, Balemartine, then Agnes in Greenock. Returned to the Eventide Home in Scarinish for his last days. His niece `B` looked after Willie in Greenock and erected his headstone on Tiree. Seven photos of Willie accessioned separately Q113-Q119. Others are of his brother Tom, sister Jeannie and her daughter `B` and son `Little Jimmie` amongst others.
