MacCallum, Kilmoluaig, and others of the steamer Huntsman of Liverpool, which saved the crew of the Spanish steamer Delfina in the Irish Sea in December 1928.
Colour photograph of two medals awarded to Captain Donald Archibald MacCallum, Kilmoluaig, in 1929, for his services in sea rescues. In December 1928, the Spanish steamer ‘Delfina’ got into difficulty in the Irish Sea. MacCallum and the crew of the ‘SS Huntsman’ came to its aid, saving many lives.
