Two black & white photographs of Lachlan McLean (‘wee Lachie’), son of Mary/Mashag MacLean (1888-1964), Kenovay, in around 1925. Lachie was brought up by his Aunt Christina McLean and Uncle Hector (pictured) in Tobermory, where he was Dux of Tobermory School. He was drowned or killed between the ship and the pier at Liverpool during a blackout in 1940 while he was serving as an Officer in the Merchant Navy.
