Donald MacDonald was born 5/6/1888 eldest child of Alexander MacD. and Ann Munn Campbell. He married in June 1927. His father was a lobster fisherman who had come with his father Donald to Muck from Mull in the 1870s. Ann was the daughter of the schoolteacher in Muck, Colin Campbell. They lived at Pier House, Port Mor, Isle of Muck.
