The yacht probably belonged to the family of Marion MacLean Brodie (b. 1854), who was the daughter of Lachlan MacLean, Kilmoluaig, and Catherine MacLean, Grianal (Greenhill). From a large photo album embossed with G.I.B. belonging to Marion’s daughter, Georgie.
