Black & white photograph of one of the Halifax aircraft that was involved in the mid-air collision with another Halifax over Tiree on 16 Aug 1944 with the loss of all 16 airmen (8 in each plane). This is thought to be the one in which Leonard Revilliod (grandson of the first President of Czecheslovakia) was part of the crew when it crashed.
