Stud book entry for a Clydesdale foal born at Cornaigbeg in 1945

The foal`s mother, called Brae Blossom, was owned by John MacLean of The Brae. Its father was Cauldbarns Pioneer, and was probably brought over from the mainland. The stud book was essential in ensuring that horses bred on Tiree remained of the highest quality.
