Maggie (Magaidh Dhòmhnaill ’ic Neilidh) Richardson née MacLean, 1907-1997, teacher at Ruaig School. She was the first woman in Tiree with a car.

Maggie MacLean of Balevullin was Dux of Oban High School in 1925 and graduated as a teacher shortly after that. She taught at Ruaig School before moving to Glasgow.
