Postcard of Tiree Lodge postmarked 1908

The Lodge was originally built for a school in the 1790s, became the estate`s gamekeeper`s house, followed by a residence of the Duke of Argyll`s sister, then an officer`s mess during WWII, rented as a private shooting lodge and finally sold in 1957 to a hotelier.
