I would be interested in finding out more about this John Stewart. My grandmother had a lot of research done in 1820’s- 1850’s and had John Stewart born before May 1776 in Carnaib & Balemartine, Tiree (wondering if that could have been Cornaigbeg) He married Ann McNeil b abt. 1781 of Barra, Western Heb, Argyll Scotland. She had them married about 1801 in Tyree. We have Births & baptism records for their 8 children and they are well documented….We just don’t have much on John or Ann to verify that this information is correct.
