List of names of 13 soldiers and sailors of Heylipol Parish who fell in the Great War 1914-1919, transcribed from a brass plaque above the altar in Heylipol Church in 2014. Names include Lamont, MacDonald, MacFadyen, MacFarlane, MacLaren, MacKinnon, MacPhail, Sinclair and MacArthur.

Printed email from Alistair MacNeill of Hynish and North Berwick recollecting the antics of an RAF airman staying at Hynish during WWII. Canadian Sqdn Leader Tony Hillditch and his wife Peggy lived at No. 1 Hynish. The email also includes photographs and information about a War Memorial at North Bewick commemorating Coastal Command, which includes Tiree.

Page printed from the internet dedicated to Chief Officer Charles Lamont MacDonald (1896-1941) showing a photo of the Tower Hill War Memorial where he is remembered. He died aged 45 whislt serving in the Merchant Navy on the SS Derrynane during WWII. Included is a printed copy of a photo of the SS Derryane (R145) and an email from his great nephew Charles `Hillcrest` MacDonald MacKinnon.
