The Lodge Hotel in 1980
Originally built as a school, it later became a residence of the the Duke of Argyll`s family, and was regularly occupied by the Duke`s family and friends in the early 1900s. Lady Victoria Campbell held various classes there for local people, including woodworking for men and sewing for women.
