MacKinnon & Son, Balephuil. One of the many shops that once existed on Tiree, Duncan MacKinnon`s shop in Am Bail Ur was started by his mother and father in a cupboard in the house. As the shop grew (physically and commercially) it became a great spot for a ceilidh, with a `crowd` gathering every night. It sold all manner of goods - even at midnight.
