Mary Kennedy (Mairi Dhòmhnaill Mhòir) of Balevullin (the ruins of her father’s croft house are beside ‘Braeside’, Balevullin). She had one son Donald Archie Kennedy, a sea captain in the Merchant Navy, who built a house in Cornaig (now owned by Robert Doncaster). Mary lived there from 1925 until her death around 1932-35, latterly with her daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. She had one brother Alasdair Kennedy, the grandfather of Alasdair Kennedy, Kilmoluaig machair who died on 12th November 2004. (Original photo in Filing Cabinet 8 drawer 3)
